This is a really, really beautiful song. And it was a number one hit!


Analysis

I'll be fair. I've never seen Nashville. I know it has a million songs and "I'm Easy" was the only one nominated for BOS. From the clip, it looked like a very important song and Lily Tomlin's stone faced acting was sublime. But as a song, it's kind of bland. I like melody and "I'm Easy" just mozies along.


P.S. Songs like "Richard's Window" make me wish I was born thirty years earlier.
